Dancing in the Park

In the summer of 2020, during the COVID-19 pandemic, a few folk-dancers are meeting on Friday evenings, at 6 PM, near the clubhouse at the cricket pitch in Beacon Hill Park, for "socially separated" dancing.
If the weather is bad, at 4 PM, we will cancel, and try again on Saturday, at 6 PM.

Directions: from the north-east corner of Beacon Hill Park, at Cook Street, go west on Park Boulevard, and then immediately turn left (south) onto Nursery Road, and follow it to the end, and park your vehicle. There is additional parking near the tennis courts (that you have just passed).

Normally:

When summer arrives in Victoria, we go
outside, and dance on the grass at/near the Cameron Bandshell in Beacon Hill Park.

We start on June 19, 2020, and dance from 7 PM until dusk, every Friday, through August 13, 2020.

This weekly event is
free to the public -- no previous dance-experience is required.

In past years, if it was raining, we danced on the covered stage.

In August, due to the "B Movie Festival" shows, we will be "near" to the Bandshell -- just look/listen to find us.
